Since 1988, the Port Stephens Busy B’s have been bringing local ladies together to raise funds, share friendship, and support children with disabilities in our community.

About Us

Port Stephens Busy B’s is a registered not-for-profit women’s charity group that has been supporting children with disabilities in the local community since 1988. We are a friendly and welcoming group of ladies who meet each month to socialise, share a meal, and raise funds for important causes.Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Community Hall on Norburn Avenue, Nelson Bay, from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Each gathering includes morning tea, lucky door and lucky dip prizes, and a shared lunch where members bring a plate to enjoy together. We also feature guest speakers, entertainers, or light-hearted games such as trivia and Hoy, making each meeting both fun and engaging.Throughout the year we raise funds through the sale of crafts, books, plants, jams and pickles, second-hand goods, quality clothing, and raffles. Thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters, we have proudly raised over $400,000 for organisations including Riding for the Disabled, Guide Dogs, The Rainbow Club, Ronald McDonald House, Aspect School, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Firstchance, and Supertee.Membership is open to ladies only, with a small annual fee, and we are always happy to welcome new faces who would like to be part of a caring group making a meaningful difference in the community.

Ladies only – new members and visitors are always welcome.

Cost

• Annual Membership: $15 per year
• Meeting Entry Fee: $5 per meeting (includes morning tea and prizes)
